  • Solutions for Suspension Concentrates (SC) Formulations
    Suspension concentrates (SC) are formulations that consist of insoluble, solid active ingredients suspended in water with the aid of dispersing and wetting agents for safer and better application onto crop surfaces. When used for seed treatments, SCs are called flowables (FS). FS formulations may contain coloring agents and binders as additional components that are not typically included in SCs.

  • Solutions for Oil Dispersion (OD ) Formulations
    Using proper carrier, emulsifier, dispersant and rheology modifier (RM) are often critical for the successful development of oil dispersion (OD) formulation. Stepan Agricultural Solutions’ team has developed a full package solution to mitigate these formulation challenges, such as phase separation, sedimentation, and caking. Our innovative rheology modifiers can be used for different active ingredient loadings, oil systems, and temperatures while the ready-to-use property can be added to the formulation without additional heating or activate process.

  • STEPGROW GP 102: Adjuvant for Water-Based Formulations
    Stepan Agricultural Solutions’ glufosinate ammonium adjuvants are non-tallow amine blends. Compared to market benchmarks, Stepan’s adjuvants show lower foaming, higher wetting and better penetration performances. Our solutions also meet the different formulation viscosity standards and the field performance results have demonstrated that Stepan’s products can control the weeds’ growth faster and longer.

      For years, alkyl ethyl sulfonate is used as a tank-mix adjuvant for cotton defoliants. However, this practice has presented challenges for farmers with issues like high foaming and loading, along with average wetting performance.

Stepan Agricultural Solutions is proud to introduce STEPGROW® CT, an innovative tank-mix adjuvant. Developed through intensive laboratory work and field trial studies, this novel solution replaces traditional alkyl ethyl sulfonate. STEPGROW CT offers several advantages:
