Stepan Oilfield Solutions’ PETROSTEP® KB-1303 intermediate is an oxyalkylated triol or poloxyalkylene glycerol designed to effectively demulsify a wide variety of crude, processed and refined oils in operations worldwide.
Besides showing effective use in crude oil demulsification and desalting, PETROSTEP KB-1303 is very effective in tank treating and paraffin dispersing. PETROSTEP KB-1303 enhances demulsifier and paraffin treatment formulations through effective solids wetting, leaving good water quality and a clean interface.
