PETROSTEP^® KB-3208

Stepan Oilfield Solutions’ PETROSTEP^® KB-3208 intermediate is a polyglycol ester that can be used in most crude oil demulsification systems. It is effective in a large variety of crude, processed and refined oils in operations worldwide.

PETROSTEP KB-3208 demonstrates significant dehydration abilities and it enhances other demulsifier formulations through effective phase separation. In many formulations, the addition of PETROSTEP KB-3208 increases water drop speed and emulsion removal. Systems containing low water percentages would benefit from a demulsifier formulation containing this product.
